finance404 publishes financial education: recalculations of what financial products cost, based on published rates and fees, with the arithmetic shown so you can verify it yourself.

Accuracy and your own verification
Every figure we publish carries the date and time it was captured, and the method used to calculate it is set out on our Methodology page.
Exchange rates move continuously and providers change fees without notice. A figure that was accurate at capture may not be accurate when you read it. You are responsible for verifying current figures with the provider before you act on them.
We work carefully and check our arithmetic, but we can be wrong. If you find an error, tell us — we correct it and publish what changed, with the date.
Use of our content
You may read, print, and share our articles for your own non-commercial use, and you may quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link to the original page.
You may not republish articles in full, present our work as your own, or use our content to train machine-learning models without written permission. Our calculations, tables, and the way we present them are our own work.
If you want to cite our figures in research or journalism, please do — attribution and a link is all we ask, and we are happy to share our workings on request.
Third-party names and links
We name financial providers in order to report their published prices. Company and product names are the trademarks of their owners; naming them does not imply any relationship with, endorsement by, or affiliation with them unless we say so explicitly.
We link to third-party sites for reference. We do not control their content, terms, or pricing and are not responsible for them.
If you are a provider and believe we have misrepresented your pricing, email us with the correct figures and the page they come from. We will verify and correct it publicly if we got it wrong. We do not remove accurate figures, and we do not accept payment for placement or coverage.
Advertising and commissions
The site may display advertising and may contain paid links. Where we earn a commission we disclose it beside the link, not only in a footer. Advertising and commissions do not change our figures, our conclusions, or what we choose to cover. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
