Some links on this site are paid links. If you sign up for a service through one of them, we may receive a commission from that company. You pay nothing extra.
We tell you this next to the link itself, every time — not only on this page.
What commission does not do
It does not change a number. Our figures come from published rates and fees, captured at a stated time and recomputed against an independent mid-market reference. The calculation runs the same way whether a provider pays us or not.
It does not buy a ranking, a conclusion, or a place in a comparison. We do not accept payment for placement or for a favourable result, and we do not let a provider review an article before it is published.
It does not decide what we cover. We regularly publish conclusions that cost us money — including that a provider paying us is the more expensive option at a given amount, or that the reader is better off doing nothing at all.
Where you will see paid links
Comparison tables and articles about transfer services, currency accounts, multi-currency cards, and similar products.
Our current commission arrangements
finance404 currently has no affiliate relationships, and no article on this site contains a paid link. If that changes, this page is updated before the next article that mentions the provider goes live, and we will publish the full list of companies we earn from and how.
